Books under the Tree

I came across an idea today that sounded super fun--especially if you have young children.  One family wraps its Christmas books and places them under the tree.  Each night during December, one of the children picks a package and unwraps it.  The family then reads the book together.  How fun!  I love Christmas books.  What a special time.

By the way, you definitely would not need 25 books to make this fun.  If you only have 10, wrap those.  You could start opening them 10 days before Christmas or it wouldn't have to be an every evening activity.  If I have time to wrap some books, we may start this tomorrow!
